The wood for this sculptor has some fascinating regarded as a living thing, not only for its origin in a living, “the tree”, but what lingers in it, with the movement of their veins, their textures and colors , warmth and sensuality, its aroma and its brightness, its touch. Because ultimately, he wants his works not only contemplate but handle, to be petted. The sculpture in three dimensions is to require the sense of touch, for sensory integration. Treatment is always handmade, slow and quiet, to invite prolonged contemplation and maturation of each work and why the author recognizes that in every work there is something about him. Sometimes he wants to work with weather-worn parts, with a sculptural process before time and nature, to toggle to the work of human hands. They highlight some works made from old railway sleepers. Working with wood, some of the country such as oak, chestnut, yew, ash, juniper, cedar, juniper, walnut, etc.. and also of tropical origin imported woods like mahogany, the cereceida, the jatova, etc. ..
